Trump should tell Govs like Cuomo that they can stay closed as long as they want ... but don’t come crying to the Feds for a federal bailout of your state budgets.
My fear is being realized it is going to turn into a red state/blue state thing. The rats are announcing extending their states lockdowns ahead of today’s briefing. The Rino’s are preparing their “I am choosing lives over money” speeches too.
My only hope is that this lockdown is like a highly-inflated balloon. The blue governors think they can let the pressure out very slowly, but as soon as they loosen their grip on its throat, it will fly out of their hands and around the room.
Lol ! Anybody that’s been listening to all these news conferences ( and as a junkie about it ) noticed the tremendous change in tone this week as they know that they defeated this virus and all the attention was going to be turned back to opening America up again
They kept saying that these news conferences we start at five Eastern to Pacific and then you would see how they let the press sit around and wait and wait and wait and Trump with you up about 3 PM or 6 PM Eastern
And now that he’s all excited about what he’s going to do it it’s not just going to be a beat up the press event
he’s actually not saying that he’s showing up at 6 o’clock and he probably will show up at 6 o’clock!

WOO HOO, I’ll have a beer and celebrate. The first state that opens up Near New York I will be driving too for an expensive lunch and the Mrs. will spend at their stores - screw New York.
As usual, I'll DVR C-SPAN, but tonight I'll bounce around and try to see which networks are covering it, and when they cut out.
The best part of this is the gubbernors are the ones that will do the openings and the people want it done.
The states with real 'hot spots' can lag behind by a few weeks, but their people will not stand for a forever project, two weeks at a time.

Not exactly. Viruses rise and burn out in a natural cycle as they ALWAYS HAVE (Bill Gates, Zeke Emmanuel and the rest of the “hide in the basement till vaccine” crowd).
The virus will still be out there and people will still get sick and die.
BUT...we have achieved our initial objective of managing the curve beyond any catastrophic crash in our health care system. The only realistically achievable objective there ever was.
So it’s Mission Accomplished and Let’s Roll!
Agreed. That is why they are tightening their grip, they will never have this much power to destroy lives again.
