The Epoch Times recently published a documentary to Facebook, Tracking Down the Origin of Wuhan Coronavirus.
The documentary went viral across different channels, including Facebook, generating a lot of healthy discussion and more than 70 million views collectively, at last count.
However, an independent fact checker erroneously marked the video as false. Click here to read the justification provided by the fact checker.
The fact checker appears to take issue with some of the expert opinions the documentary presents. With the Chinese Communist Party having destroyed evidence and prevented research into the origin of the virus, its very difficult to draw any definitive conclusions. Its not the intent of the film to provide a definitive answer.
Aside from the expert opinions, the film explores purely the known facts surrounding the CCP virus (commonly known as the novel coronavirus) and the global pandemic.
The documentary has had a strong impact, creating interest in potential origins for the virus that challenge the official Chinese Communist Party talking points of its origin at the Huanan Seafood Market.

You folks still using Facebook should be caned. No apologies. Now we know specifically who the traitors are.
I am on FB and see many posts about China. Maybe I see them before they are deleted. I have seen posts about saying Jesus is the Son of God being deleted. I just share them. I am keeping up with family and friends.
When you have found who you can not criticize you have found who rules over you.
To be fair, this is not new for Facebook. They say 1+1=3 because that is the correct answer.
A lot of people are trying to hide something. Fact checking has become pure censorship.
Watching it now
The fact checker, Danielle Anderson, is not independent, as she states: I will disclose that I am a scientist trained to work in high containment and have collaborative projects with the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). I have worked in this exact laboratory at various times for the past 2 years.
There you have it.
Facebook censured my attempts to post the Epoch Times video. FB informed me that a fact checker, after thorough investigation of the video, determine that it gave false information when it said that the virus’s origin did not come out of nature. The fact checker’s premise is a total falsehood. The video said that the virus originated naturally from a bat. However, it gave information to suggest that the virus was tinkered with, so it could infect other species rather than just other bats. The effort described by the video was to create a human to human transmission and the ability of the virus to replicate itself quickly inside its host. This revelation is what Facebook did not want revealed.
I wrote a message to Facebook saying their fact checker mischaracterized the video and showed political bias when the purpose of the video was to do a scientific analysis of the epidemiology of the virus. I doubt my words had any effect.
I’m half tempted to close my facebook account over this. only problem is - i’ve never had a facebook account.
The video is hosted at several locations on YouTube and is going viral from there. Facebook apparently doesn’t like Epoch Times. I’ve posted one of the YouTube versions from my Facebook account and it is still up there with no warnings attached.
