No one except the 5% perennial lefty nutcases would even think of blaming the President for the economy given what was the cause for the turn down.

I respectfully disagree. I have seen nice, polite old ladies, that would, in another generation and another time, would be considered stereotypes for church ladies, froth at the mouth with vituperative hatred and rage-filled loathing at Trump, wishing national calamities and catastrophes, just to get rid of him. The level of sheer, electrifying hatred that is out there for him is unbelievable.

Both of my parents and all four grandparents lived in New York City between 1929 and 1945. The city was not destroyed.

I doubt Trump will lose, in fact I see him winning by a bigger Electoral margin and probably the popular vote. My concern is that we don’t win back the House because of new voting laws these blue states are rushing through that guarantee fraud, no matter what federal guidelines are mandated by Congress. In addition, we may even be at risk in the Senate.

To be blunt, that is my biggest fear as we will lose the ability to maintain control of the court nominations. It is up to the GOP congressional candidates to up their game, particularly in a restricted campaign environment where the biased, communist Democrat media will have greater exposure. HOPEFULLY, the people will see through both the Democrats and the media on this, but my bet is on Bracken’s views, unfortunately.

If they do, they will have the blame and be thrown out as people rebel.

The trouble is, if they get their wish for election by mail then there will be so much voter fraud that they will win that "election" no matter how much the people rebel.

A person may be a committed Dem lib, but unemployment will be a stronger incentive to revolt. Especially when red states economies are open. That was why Cuomo was whining about Trump having the Governors decide. He wants the blame placed on Trump if it goes wrong, and he knows he will have a huge amount of pressure placed on him in NYC if he keeps it closed. It is a losing proposition to keep your states economy closed.

I totally agree! Rush mentioned yesterday Cuomo is talking about reopening NY b/c he is out of money. My state, Colorado, unfortunately has a far lefty for a governor. I think he is going to be shocked when he see what he has to work with for next year’s budget. We have a constitutional requirement it is balanced and taxes cannot be raised without a vote of the people. Good luck with that, Polis!

Plenty of Freepers, including me, have been saying the same things for weeks. The end game for the Democrats: Crash the economy to get President Trump defeated in November.
President will be very foolish if he continues to listen to Democratic operatives like Fauci,who's aim is to delay any lifting of the economy crushing lockdowns till the day after the elections in November.

But they will prosper again (or so they think) once the Dems are in power. Remember that the 3 pillars of the Dem establishment are the welfare folks, media-academia-tech nexus, and government employees. None of those will suffer as much as the average middle class Americans.
