So if people can go to the beach why can’t people go to work? Or go shopping?

Hopefully other states on the East Coast will open in order to get people to move back up north. The Mid Atlantic cannot absorb all of NYS so Cuomo keeps his numbers low at the expense of other states.

And they mocked and insulted Trump when he said by Easter. Here we are 5 days later.

Almost all California beaches have remained open throughout the Corona Era and CA numbers have stayed low.

I have photos of my Grandchildren at the beach in South Walton County. It was December so off season but not a soul in view other than the kids.

It wasn’t the governor who closed most of these beaches, many of which are county or city owned. It was the petty tyrants in the municipal and county governments.

He got on the phone with them last evening. Our mayor changed his tune this morning and (partially) reopened the beaches that are under his control.

I recommend the Fort Pickens area near Pensacola. Don’t go barefoot on the beaches though. Stickers, which the travel guides don’t mention. If you bring your dog to the beach, same problem. The old artillery batteries are fun to explore.

Pinellas County wants to open the beaches, but the sheriff said no. Hillsborough County had a curfew from 9 to 5, but they decided to remove the curfew. I still got my beach.... My boat..

During reopening, notice should be taken that different states have different divisions of power between the state and the localities.

Not seeing much mention of that, but it’s important.
