when the goalposts are moved again (and they will be) that very goal is what will be established as the endgame...don’t look for any significant opening of any impacted state economy before June, unless there is open insurrection...

Being locked down has already done great damage to the economy and the spirit of the people.
There is general agreement we can’t stay locked down permanently.
Given the two facts above, there is no reason to stay locked down any longer and good reason to start reopening now. The longer we wait the harder it will be because people will be in need of so many more things. Stores need to open but they will have to enforce distancing and limit how many can enter at a time.
Faster, please.

I think the commenter is being hypothetical.
At what point are there few enough deaths to reopen? And if deaths hit zero, how long do deaths have to stay at zero before reopening? If we reopen and deaths continue, do we close down again?
These states and country as a whole cannot take many more weeks of this.

Note where those deaths are and you will find that they are centered in the predominately Progressive Agenda21/30 Stack and Pack Ghettos of Texas. Abbott could open up 200 counties in Texas with little or no effect on the virus spreading.
We have a perfect storm for conservatives as far as protesting goes
We’re all sitting here bored and out of work temporarily with not a whole lot to do ; getting itchy ; and then we have these fascist governors trying to take away our civil rights right to assembly and free speech
Like I said it’s a perfect storm - and you can watch as America -conservative America - rises up and shows it’s true voice against this fascist phenomenon
