I don’t think it’s 20 million, probably closer to hundreds of thousands. China has very high population density combined with a high per capita smoking among the population, and badly polluted air compared to modern nations. All of those put together are pretty bad for people when it comes to respiratory viruses.
>However, if there were only thousands of deaths here, why were there millions in China?
1. Strain was more virulent and deteriorated over time.
2. Polluted air in China exacerbated conditions.
3. Reports that Chinese were given Eastern herbal medicine and not any drugs to relieve issues.
4. Hurried responses, leading to quick immolation of convalescents.
5. Village lockdowns were by barricading roads, leading to absolutely no treatment.
6. Secondary deaths (single care providers with children dying, locked inside, thus children also die).
I wouldnt be surprised if it were that high..in China people walk around with cell phones attached to their heads..would make no sense for 21 million cell phones to suddenly turn off
Hmm, Who to believe? the Deep State CIA or CIAs primary Deep State propaganda arm, CNN.
How about neither?
If this was true, it would be impossible to hide it. IMPOSSIBLE.
That many bodies cannot be buried or burned without evidence being imaged or detected.
I want photos. Obviously I believe the death number is higher, but this is an order of magnitude higher than I believe the CCP could keep a lid on, particularly from eyes in the sky.
“4. Hurried responses, leading to quick immolation of convalescents.”
Are you saying they burned people alive?
All those things would seem to exacerbate the situation, but I don’t see it adding up to 21 million. (Of course, ICBW.)
This is true. Death is certainly a change in lifestyle.
According to articles I have read, a check of cell phone usage in China indicates 22 million accounts have ceased activity. That's a lot.
These articles claim this is an indication of how many had potentially died of Corona Virus.
Ditto. I doubt anyone from US intelligence has been speaking with this very shaky source.
Used to be you’d have to provide at least two quality sources before running with a story.
Now you don’t need even one! Just put some vague reference to “US intelligence” and add quotation marks.
I’m not falling for it. FreeRepublic is above this.
The question is how to interpret that information.
21 million is about 1.5% of the population of China.
It is a pretty high number of deaths, even for an older population with relatively sparse medical facilities.
In 1918-19, the U.S. lost 675K out of 103 million, or .66% .
>All those things would seem to exacerbate the situation, but I dont see it adding up to 21 million. (Of course, ICBW.)
I don’t think it’s that much either.
I think a third of that number died and two thirds attempted to go dark by canceling their phone knowing that they are from Wuhan and are being tracked.
And that number (20.9m) makes the panic responses understandable as well as all the cell phone piles by the crematoriums and industrial furnaces - a number which approaches the reported 18plus million cell phones that vanished from the networks. Almost as many as the Taiping Rebellion (1851-1964) of 40 million dead. With China and numbers always go for the high side and even that may be low.
Does no one consider that even if they laid every body out on display, and identified every one them for the media, that they actually died of the virus?
If I was an evil totalitarian ruler, I’d use an epidemic as a cover for eliminating thousands or millions of political enemies, and dissidents or potential dissidents or otherwise inconvenient people.
When you test positive and then have a bullet put in your head, did you in fact die of coronavirus?
U.S. “intelligence” was too busy trying to overthrow the President for Clinton and Obama. They can all FOAD.
Most of the rest of the world believes and practices public and personal sanitation - not in China. And that’s the didfference
“However, if there were only thousands of deaths here, why were there millions in China?”
I listened to a china “expert” talking about this. He said that 14 million of the accounts were a pay as you go type. They belonged to students, transients, visitors, etc. He said that if they weren’t using the accounts, they weren’t paying for them and they would, eventually, be cancelled. However, the remaining accounts, about six million, he believed were regular accounts, prepaid or post paid. If that many were abruptly cancelled, due to non payment, which appears to be the case, then those account holders, or some percentage of them, were most likely dead. When your population is over 1.5 billion, what percentage of them drop dead of natural causes over a several month period? I found an estimate of China’s death rate in 2019 as 7.5 per thousand. So, would that mean that eleven million people die annually? If so, six million deaths in several months would be normal.
It could also be a means of censorship during crises.
The government could have cut off these accounts as suspect, or unreliable.
Way to do the math, General. Makes sense.
