Italy is very similar, so many people crammed into one small Peninsula with a few big cities. That’s Italy for you.
Their population density figures are a bit on the deceptive side - many Italian (and Euro) towns have everyone crowded into the town center, but then the town is surrounded by tons of farmland that technically are still in the town so the official population density doesn’t look as bad as it effectively is.
