This is destroying their talking point. Why haven’t the grocery stores shut down? With such a contagious disease they should have been the first to go down. ... yet there they are months in to the WuHu-19 virus and they are standing strong stacking the shelves manning the registers!
Not one person who works at my grocery store has become sick - so far. Nor at my local convenience store ‘High’s’.
Bill Maher just gave the MSM a spankin’ over this sort of thing. I guess they didn’t get the memo from one of their own.
Large chains are hiring the unemployed to fill in where regular employees are out sick or on leave. Companies have probably been throwing tons of overtime at those willing to work in the environment as well.
It really depends on where you are. In my area of Atlanta metro, there's no real social distancing at my local stores. Employees are wearing masks now even if many customers are not and customers are still bringing their whole families to shop and crowding the aisles. Some stores do have one way aisles or have closed some entrances/exits to better control traffic flow. Looks like there's a lot of wiggle room for store management to decide how far they'll go so you don't know what to expect until you go to the store.
I'd love it if CDC would do antibody testing of grocery workers. That would probably tell us a lot.
