Some people don’t live in reality. There are even people claiming that COVID19 is no more serious than the ordinary common cold even now. Had someone get mad at me the other day for having the audacity to suggest that a disease in which a substantial number of the population is already immune to and for which we have and have had vaccines for a long period of time can’t spread as fast and isn’t as deadly. They claimed that was false and that diseases for which we have no immunity and no vaccine don’t spread any faster. Not making it up.

Not to mention, if people are so happy about being locked down at home, losing their jobs, going bankrupt, being financially ruined, how come protests and demonstrations have erupted everywhere against lockdowns despite being under the threat of getting arrested for breaking lockdown rules?
I’m sure other people can tell a similar tale. I live in a county with 220,000 people. About 120 cases. Over 60 have already been “cured” and are at home. Two deaths. Both elderly with pre-existing conditions (God test their souls). I’m just not seeing the end of the world.
Internal factions don’t really matter, Danny. We have a war on several fronts here.
We have to figure out how to beat the virus, because it remains. That includes keeping as many people alive as we can, especially the vulnerable, while at the same time not losing our freedom and our country.
This country has a number of tin horn despots trying to attack the vulnerable, which is all of us, at this time. Some of these same people also appear to be in league with China. They are all enemies, and they would be thrilled to enslave us as soon as possible.
We have to, while all of this is happening, figure out how to re-establish our own manufacturing base. The folly of our previous ways has been perfectly illustrated.
And we have to, while of this happening of course, figure out how best hold China accountable for its act of war.
We must proceed with the plan President Trump has established. Yes, there will be pain and death, the toll is going to continue to mount. I trust our President. Our country is in his hands, let’s support him.
