My son has 2 rentals. Rents are 400 and 450. These people got a stimulus check. Pay the rent. My son pays some utilities. He can’t pay these without the rent. 2 of the 3 renters are on SSI and food stamps. There income has not changed. Pay the dam rent.

It was my impression that the stimulus was meant, in part, to help people pay their rent, their car loan, etc. Now these people haven't had their incomes diminished at all. Quite the contrary, they have extra money. Where would someone get the idea that they don't need to meet their obligations?

I ask this question semi-rhetorically. I know where they get these ideas. Just doesn't make sense to me.
