The worst case scenario is that we are stuck with some variation of this virus. There are literally many strains of virus that give you the flu, and the vaccines for the flu don’t work on all of them.
That’s the weird thing. My wife used to be a veterinary technician and she said the shot they give puppies to vaccinate them against parvo also innoculates them agains coronoavirus. There are many coronaviruses. The common cold is a coronavirus. That is why it is so important to call this covid-19. It’s a new (novel) strain of a virus that’s been around for years.
