The U.S. Department of Justice on Monday cited "extreme urgency" in clearing U.S. pharmaceutical distributors from legal hurdles in order to provide the controversial anti-malaria drug to coronavirus patients.
The Justice Department penned a response letter Monday notifying one of the country's largest wholesale drug distribution companies, AmerisourceBergen, that antitrust hurdles have been removed as part of an "expedited, temporary review procedure." The DOJ letter dated April 20 says the drug corporation is now set to work with federal government agencies and health care providers to distribute hydroxychloroquine to patients with coronavirus symptoms. The anti-malaria drug has been controversially touted by President Donald Trump as a "treatment" for COVID-19, the illness caused by the novel coronavirus, despite reports from organizations including the American Heart Association that the medication exacerbates fatal heart problems and has not faced U.S. clinical trials.

Already safely used long-term by millions, and the Covid-19 dosage is a grand total of five pills of 200mg each, just one per day for 5 days. (Take with 200mg zinc and a 500mg Z-Pak pill each day as well for maximum effectiveness.)
With long-term use, the chances of a mild heart arrhythmia is 47 in one million. With short-term use, it would be far lower than that. The numbers are about the same for mildly blurred vision (which Leftists call "going totally blind").
So where is the need for any delay whatsoever in using it for Covid-19?

Great point! I was told that in California, you can't get the drugs unless you are hospitalized. To me what sense in hell does that make? It would make more sense to give the drugs to keep people OUT of the hospital. As they say, shaking my head here.
What is startling about this is that it was the DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE that had to intervene here!

How many people died because they were denied this drug because of Fauci's "anecdotal" call. He does indeed have blood on his hands. He thinks he's the only knowledgeable doctor on earth? Sure does.
Think of Penicillin...used for so many bugs...no vaccines.
