There was a show called The Last Man on Earth that was set a number of years in the future after a virus had wiped out most of mankind (the show premiered in 2015). In 2017, they did an episode that showed the start of the pandemic, and the method they chose to use to show how things unfolded was to show televised funerals for various members of the Trump administration. They called them out by name, and I know it included Betsy DeVos and I believe it included Mike Pence (and they also named Paul Ryan). I thought this was an extremely petty, hateful thing to do, and I said so here on FR. Someone called me out and said, “They were just showing how it started! How else would they show it?” Would they have shown members of the Clinton administration being carried out in coffins had she won? I say no way in hell. They would have just shown news reports about people dying and not have mentioned their favorite politicians at all. But, this was them raging against Donald Trump and I hated them for ruining what had been a fun show until that point.
