I think this Surgeon General has done enough damage already with his “masks don’t work” (unless you’re a healthcare worker - then, they somehow magically DO work) tweet back in Feb.
I wasn’t that impressed with the guy to begin with. Then he goes off with “masks don’t work” and some other dooseys, and it’s obvious we have a very weak Surgeon General at a time when we need someone who’s a total rock star...
If you go to each German or French virus presentation back six weeks ago...they stated in a blunt way...the mask has limited value. They’ve already done the tests and the cheapo type you often see at the Dentist office is worthless. The N-95 type would be the only real protection, and once you pull it out of the bag...it’s got a limited lifespan.
I think he is great. On the mask thing that was what he was told by the CDC and Fauci.
Yeah, Adams and Fauci have been all over the place since this Wuhan Virus got started. Lots of disinformation, especially on the part of Fauci, who advised "Sure, go on a cruise!" as late as March 9, 2020.
Some of that rhetoric was probably due to the shortage of N-95 masks back then.
To be fair to Adams, it wasn’t just him.
The problem is bureaucracy and the bureaucrats who hold the public they claim to serve in contempt.
