RUSH: Theyre flying drones over Palm Beach, over the beach. Did you see that? Its the most fascinating picture. Theres a drone photo, and the drone happened to catch a pelican. My favorite birds the pelican, and this picture is of a pelican. The pelicans flying just below the drone and the pelican is in the picture. Its a picture of the Midtown Beach, and the Palm Beach police put it out, Oh, no, no, no, no!
We are not using this to violate anybodys rights. Were not doing this It wasnt the police. It was the city government people. No, no, no, no. Were not. Were not. Its a fascinating picture. Ill see if I can come up with the picture. You may be able to find it. I didnt take a screen grab of it for once. I wasnt thinking.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: All right. We got that picture. We got that picture. Here is the picture. Were gonna post it at RushLimbaugh.com too. That picture on the Dittocam right now and I hope youre watching this on the Apple TV app, the Rush Limbaugh app on Apple TV, which has the Dittocam exclusively on your big screen. Thats a police drone taking a picture of the Midtown beach. Thats just a little north of where Worth Avenue would be. So thats not close from Royal Palm Way, to give you a marker from where that pictures taken. And the pelican, of course, has no idea that its photo is being taken.
I saw this yesterday. And the police department, No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Were just testing. Were not checking social distancing or any of that. Now, I mentioned that pelicans, one of my all-time favorite birds, even though I live on a beach, you cant get too close to these things unless theyre in captivity, then they charge you wanting to be fed. But you have to go to a preserve for that. In the wild, you know, they kind of flee.
So I was shocked. Back in December I was playing golf, and theres a freshwater lake on this golf course. And I noticed on a concrete lid over a drain there were two pelicans. I was able to get here, put that picture up. This is a picture I took I was able to get that close to them. The pelicans a saltwater bird, an ocean bird. Im wondering what in the world they were doing, these two were doing, on a freshwater lake. (interruption) You have freshwater pelicans out where you live? (interruption) You do? All right, okay then you may know more about pelicans. I thought they were exclusive, like New Orleans theyre all over saltwater
Anyway, these things, these two guys didnt flinch as I walked over. They just stood there. Or, in this case, one of them just sat there. And very quickly here, grab sound bite number 22. This is the bite from yesterday. This is the mayor of Elizabeth, New Jersey, Chris Bollwage, talking to an MSNBC reporter.
REHEMA ELLIS: Elizabeth New Jersey is now using drones to spread the lifesaving message. The mayor hopes the drones message will reinforce the CDC warning to avoid large crowds.
CHRIS BOLLWAGE: Mayors need to be creative. We have to figure out a way to get to people that police cars cant get to. If these drones save one life, it is clearly worth the activity and the information that the drones are sending.
REHEMA ELLIS: The drones donated by DJI, a Chinese company, have gone to 43 agencies in 22 states, all to help the enforce social distancing rules.
RUSH: Are you kidding me?
REHEMA ELLIS: The authorities say the drones arent taking pictures or collecting evidence. Its a high-tech warning against the deadly virus.
RUSH: Okay. So theyre not taking any pictures. They just want you to see the drone and be intimated. So, youre just supposed to look up and see the drone, Uh-oh. Theyre spying. They say theyre not. And youre supposed to immediately conform. And then the data is being sent back to the ChiComs? The drones have been donated by a ChiCom company? In 22 states. If it saves just one life. How about this: If it saves just one life, reopening the United States economy would be worth it.
Nice pic.
I get a kick out of them theyre such funny looking creatures
I guarantee the drones are taking photos and/or videos. When you download the pictures from the drone, a copy of everything is probably sent to China by some stealth malware.
A wonderful bird is the pelican,
His bill will hold more than his belly can,
He can take in his beak, enough food for a week,
But I’m damned if I see how the hell he can!

I have a pelican photo on the wall of my bathroom. Rescued it, frame and all, from some stuff that one of our local charity thrift stores was about to throw out as unsaleable.
Such comical birds ... just fascinating.
If Rush says pelicans are his favorite birds, well, that’s just more evidence of his wisdom and good taste.
Palm Beach police drone captures pecan pie???
For my California friends, if you have never seen a string of pelicans surf riding a wave, it is a beautiful thing to behold! Sometimes when we are visiting and go to the Carrillo National Monument, we go down to the tide pools area and just watch the pelicans. Gorgeous.
OK. I know one of the states is New Jersey. What are the other states? Where are they?
That brand of drone has chinese spyware/malware on it. I can’t say how I know that.
O yes. The pelicans fly wingtip to wingtip to reduce horseshoe vortex drag.
Pure instinct. Infused knowledge.
There will be a time soon where these drones will be blasted out of the sky or out-droned by another like a WWI Dog Fight.
If an unidentified drone flies over my property, I believe I have all the right in the world to waste that muddah
It says
Palm Beach Police Drone Captures Pelican Pic as in Picture. You better see an Ophthalmologist because you need glasses.
“And the pelican, of course, has no idea that its photo is being taken.”
Oh, the pelican knows. It’s obvious that it spent hours in the feather-preening studio getting ready for its action screen-shot.
Wheres that mosseburg 500 honey? We still going to the beach? Ok, where did I put that #3 buckshot? Yeah, the barbecue chips are fine. :)
Are they certain they’re actual pelicans? They could easily be 5th generation Chinese stealth pelican drones.
I likes some pecan pie...
Is there a "Godwin rule" for that phrase? If not, there should be.
As soon as it's uttered my sympathies for the speaker evaporate. It signals an outrageous power grab every time.
Great pictures!!
