I’ve been wondering if the HVAC in a place like a restaurant could spread the virus. If so, you could be 20 feet from the nearest patron and still get it if they’re infected, simply by breathing in the recirculated air.
I guess we’re experiencing the same thing now walking through a grocery store. I don’t know if there’s a solution to this problem. Maybe virus catching filters if they have them.
Bottom line: You are NOT going to stop people from catching the virus.
You are NOT going to stop people from getting sick.
Both of those are unrealistic, unattainable goals.
The only attainable goals are and ever were:
1) Bend the hospitalization curve down so that demand does not outstrip hospital capacity (Mission Accomplished!)
2) Protect vulnerable individuals to the best of our ability.
98% recover and are fine. That fact has totally disappeared from the public discourse on this.
