It’s counterintuitive to many but a high silent or undetected infection rate is good news.

Depend upon this good news to be sensationalized by the press in hopes it will scare the masses.

The antibody tests the state ran this week have been released. 21.5% of NYC residents are said to have had the virus and had the virus run its course. That is around 1,800,000 people. That brings the city’s fatality rate down to around 0.006. It likely raises the silent asymptomatic rate to 85%.
And you are correct the media will raise the silent number as a mortal threat to life, even though these people are long past being contagious.

agreed...if anyone wants to tell the truth and be honest, a publicly announced high infection rate is good news but the lying media will spin it...
