It’s not.

Of course, there was a good possibility that with no lockdown, we’d still have been fine. But now we all live and die by the anecdotal evidence that lockdowns are saving us.

When there are no peer-reviewed double-blind studies contrasting lockdown with non-lockdown, to show that lockdown itself improves outcomes.

88 year old Female with Pneumonia and Covid19 positive. She wasn’t too far away from being intubated and ventilated.

Gee, maybe it works. I know, anecdotal, and we need to put all of our eggs in the Remdesivir trials.

Good grief.
