The guy wasn’t the most articulate person I heard today. He was plodding and you could tell Carlson was getting impatient trying to get him to wrap it up.

That’s a problem during most of FNC’s show. It appears they’re only allotted a couple of minutes for interviews, and the interviewees are almost always cut short. It’s really pretty annoying.

He was shy. The interview likely didn't occur in real-time.

Do they ever prep off-the-street guests? Everyone wants to tell their story, begining to end. Interviewers and audiences silently scream, “Get on with it! Get to the good part!” But to a story-teller, every part is a good part leading to the punchline.

Guests on call-in shows can be the same way. But often, radio talk-show hosts can be as bad by constantly interrupting a caller or trying to finish their story for them.

Well the guy is not what you’d call a media type person. He is like most of us. I think it probably took a lot for Tucker to convince him to be on his show.
I’ve never even been on television before. I am sure I won’t look that cute if I ever did.
