My cost was .80 plus tax yesterday. It had gone down below .60. Margins have been very good though shrinking. Helps a bit to make up for lost volume. We retail to be very competitive but to have the best margin that we can get away with.
......... Just paid $2.19/gal Regular at Costco in Glendora ...... Same price at Sam’s Club.....
I haven’t filled-up since March 16th, the day my state (Washington) was shut down, and I still have about 3/4 of a tank left. I haven’t been more than a mile from home in almost six weeks.
I just paid 1.79 yesterday in DeKalb, IL., and that was 5 minutes after Gas Buddy said the station was at 1.76. I guess Abe Lincoln was right when he said that you can’t believe everything you read on the internet.
$1.09 this morning at a Speedway in New Berlin
Let your rebellious nature loose tomorrow.
Strike a bow for freedom.
Go for a non-essential, 20-minute drive!
Go on! Be like Crockett at the Alamo!
Hooahh!
Worth it to me.
$1.349 at Sam’s Club in Charlotte a few days ago. All I did was top off the tank though because we’re not driving much.
It’s around 2.30 here in AZ.
$1.53 at Murphy’s (Walmart) in west Ocala/Dunnellon yesterday...
Probably true, unfortunately. Gas prices never track oil prices when they go down, but they shoot up faster than oil when it goes up.
I would not be surprised, as cynical as I am, to see gas prices shoot up a dollar or more overnight when oil prices start climbing again...
Having gone through ‘73-74 and ‘79-80, I don’t care what it costs as long as it is readily available.
Phoenix is expensive at $1.89/gallon, and for some reason it is impossible to get either ethanol-free or true high octane (above 91) gasoline. (I am not counting the $8/gallon racing fuel)
Regular: $1.61
Mid: $1.91
Premium: $2.31
I put premium in all three of our vehicles (spec) - sometimes do Mid @ 1/2 tank just because I only use the '99 Lexus LX 470 SUV to go to Home Depot/Lowes for larger items.
The little lady only uses premium for her '99 Land Cruiser. Only the best for her. Its OK - its our long distance ride.
Our '98 BMW Z3 Roadster only gets premium. A '96 Z3 was in the James Bond "GoldenEye" Ours has a tan interior but it looks just like that - honk and I'll wave. ;-)
All in great shape and yes they're paid for. We'll drive them til the drop.
99.9c plus 1.00/off per gallon with grocery special...
for up to 35 gallons...
“Experts say while you’re saving now, you may have to pay for it later.”
Ahhhh...the unnamed “experts” chime in with the doom and gloom.

Most expensive is Kalifornia - price has hardly dropped at all.

Paid $1.55 in CT today at BJs. In Connecticut!?!?!?!
