If that is the case, why does he not tell his goons to drop charges?

Oh good sir, you have no appreciation for the finer parts of revenge. To have this evidence come out “naturally” circumvents a need for a pardon or a dismissal, both of which would not exonerate the General in the eyes of the body politic. And if Flynn really wants to re-enter society as an exonerated victim of political foul play then it has to play out with the right kind of style and form.

Not to mention, if there’s going to be payback against the swamp, you don’t bash and stomp like and ogre...you slip an ice pick in when they least expect it. Only show just enough cards to get Flynn out while the remaining cards get played at the appropriate moment.

You want that dumbass judge to eat his words and say “case dismissed with prejudice”. You want that full AG report in the hands his lawsuit lawyer and Durham. You want this to slowly cook out, fat drip by fat drip.

I think Barr has a calculation.

He knows far more than we do about what occurred and what “evidence” was not turned over to Flynn’s legal team.

I think he expects this to come out in due time and it will be a self-correcting problem with the advantage that the “political prosecution” of Flynn did not result in a “political acquittal.”

Let it collapse on it’s own. I don’t think Powell is cleaning out the General’s bank account - she will make enough on the book she writes afterwards and on speaking fees. He is not in jail.

Just let it play out. I think this is what Trump decided also and it is likely the General knows all of this. The civil lawsuit that Flynn will surely file against the co-conspirators will be very interesting given the depositions that will have to take place with Powell asking the questions.

Because he is playing the long game. If AG Barr orders the case dropped the Dems get major, non stop, talking points that AG Barr is protecting PDJT and his allies. If, instead, the judge dismisses the case with prejudice after making a scathing ruling detailing all of the illegal and unethical shenanigans of the prosecutors, (Mueller and Weismann), and makes public all the documents related to these shenanigans, it makes it very hard for the MSM/Dems to spin it.

When AG Barr appointed an outside prosecutor to review the Mueller case against Gen. Flynn he already knew there were major legal and ethical problems with it but needed some one to ferret out all the documents to prove it.
