It worked for Michigan: A Michigan court on Wednesday ruled that Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's (D) stringent stay-at-home order in response to the coronavirus outbreak does not violate residents' constitutional rights, denying a motion for a preliminary injunction. A group of five Michigan residents filed a lawsuit against the governor and other state officials claiming that the quarantine measures infringed on their constitutional rights to procedural and substantive due process. They also alleged that the state's Emergency Management Act was unconstitutional. The Michigan Court of Claims rejected both allegations, ruling that an injunction against Whitmer's order would not serve the public interest, "despite the temporary harm to plaintiffs constitutional rights."

How magnanimous of him.
I feel so glad dear leader is letting us do things again.

Hey, Nevada, he’s suspending your constitutional rights AND destroying you economically AND now has the imprimatur of the courts, all in full view.

He’s right up there with the RINO Governor of Arizona, who doesn’t think the time is right to reduce the restrictions.
In my county of 210,000, there are 105 reported cases of infection, with seven deaths. For this, all businesses are, for the most part, shut down.

Someone must be paying Sisolak to put Vegas “out of business!”

From the LVRJ yesterday, In the interim, the governor announced this week that Nevada and Colorado have joined a Western state compact that includes California, Washington and Oregon on coordinating the reopening of their economies. What this means in real terms is unclear as is the rationale behind excluding GOP governors in Arizona, Utah or Idaho from the discussion. Colorado is one of the few Democratic-led states that has begun to initiate an economic thaw, so perhaps thats a good sign.
Sisolak is clearly playing politics when the only governors he is associating with at this time are democrats. Bipartisanship is not in his playbook. As for the experts and science and data he claims to be following, which he appears to be keeping a big secret, I would expect all of it to be tainted by political ideology, not on what truly is in the best interests of the citizens of the state of Nevada.

Places of worship can have drive-up religious services, as long as people stay in their vehicles and maintain social distancing parameters with people who are not part of their household. Well ain't that just ducky! Temperatures in Las Vegas will be in the nineties this week and soon will be in the triple digits. So if you attend a drive-in church service and you want to avoid dying of heatstroke, you'll have to run your car air conditioner, which will run down your battery.

Tomorrow is May 1st and Idaho is entering Phase One of opening up. The people here have had it with this nonsense. In Bonner County where I live there have been 4 positives (who probably caught it in Washington), one hospitalization, and zero deaths. In Boundary County to the north there have been zero zero zero. We have a RINO governor.
