My personal conspiracy theory:
US labs did some work on the SARS virus. Chinese researchers stole that, took it to Canada. More work done there, Chinese researchers stole that and sent it to China.
China was clumsy, incompetent and malignantly directed. It got out because they were arrogant and sloppy. They withheld information, directed WHO to dissemble and misdirect and scurried to make political and military hay, abetted by domestic US traitors for the usual reasons. Media directed by Chinese investors to amplify Chinese narrative. Bought-&-paid-for universities, think tanks and high level US government bureaucrats contributed where they could for the same anti-US/anti-Trump reasons.
All were/are still sloppy and incompetent and have stepped on their d!(k$ repeatedly. Because of all the above, they will end up outting and condemning themselves. The schemes are already backfiring and being exposed.
I told family/friends immediately in February that we would eventually find DNC/domestic prog actors directly involved in weaponizing the responses. I am pleased to see evidence of this already coming to light.
Too many people with functioning brains, some of them with relevant professional education and experience, were locked down at home for 6 weeks with their computers. They networked and researched and posted widely.

This is China. Not out of the realm of possibilities for them to brute force it the old-fashioned way by progressively inoculating herds of host animals until the natural mutations they desired occured.
Wouldn’t put it past them to use unwilling human political prisoners, either.
But, I think it was a progression of thefts of intellectual property and ham-handed lab technique. They then sought to cover it up and use the crisis to their advantage. JMO.

It might be that it isn’t man made but man released it and it had no chance to do what it has done until then. If you were to create a bioweapon would you want leave a watermark?

Bio weapons, like nuclear weapons all have a “signature.”
The “signature,” for example in a bio weapon might be a protein or enzyme. A nuclear weapons “signature” might be the isotope recovered after a detonation.
Imho (I’m not a virologist or micro biologist), but have had much NBC training, the thing is man made and got out accidentally (the Chicoms didn’t have the vaccine quite yet).

what if man discovered a natural occurring virus that had no real transmission route naturally and released it? could that work in this scenario?

To answer you’re question, probably not. From what I have read from some reputable sources is that an RNA script/sequence was inserted into the virus to allow animal (novel), to human transmission (S protein). (Novel corona virus ID 19).
Aerosolization, 72 hrs on surfaces, ease of human to human transmission, temperature/humidity tolerance, etc. gives me additional clues that this was mfg.

Me neither. Just an observer. I have read too that this was a manufactured virus, a way to aerosolize aids and was made in a lab too. I read and heard it on videos, GP120 envelope, etc. It said was the first infection will kill people who are already ill, and will get the rest later by killing the immune system in healthy people over a few years.

That’s my concern... long term affects. Many (including the flu bros here) are fixated on the initial mortality rates and not thinking of the LONG TERM aspects of this virus. It goes into the testicles and stays there. It attacks the heart. When stressed it may pop up again just like shingles and herpes. Damage could occur over many years. This sucker may well cause severe health damage years after even from an initial mild case. May affect fertility. Perfect virus for reducing population.
