I swear that U.S.taxpayers are the most abused class of people on the planet. I remember, when I was a kid (back then, they still debated what shape the wheel should be...), but I remember politicians at least giving lip service to how the taxpayer was being served when this spending bill or that spending bill came up for debate.
Nowadays, the taxpayer is just a nuisance. Except, of course if they don't pay their tax bill.
