What a hateful wench. I hope she gets added to the list of academics who lose their jobs (short as it is) when they pen these hateful screeds.
Essentially, what all these people who love to point out that the Open State protesters are predominantly white are actually pointing out that it is white people who want to go back to work and return their lives to normal, while blacks want to remain unemployed wards of the state.
The actual average percentage of black Americans in the US is 14.1% according to the last census.
The unemployment percentage of some staple categories just of Black Americans:
Restaurants and other food services - 13.2%
Clothing stores - 12.1%
Gasoline stations - 13.1%
Nail salons and other personal care services - 6.2%
Miscellaneous general merchandise stores - 19.1%
Dry-cleaning and laundry services - 14.0%
And remember this is not the total of unemployed, it is the percentage of the races of the total employed. So like the last one here, 14% of the black Americans are unemployed because of the virus call. That means that 86% of the total are still employed. And that is more than consistent with the percentage of population. So if Trump is to be blamed for this, I say, “Thank you, Mr. President. It proves the system is working even at the worst of times.”
