Certainly I am generalizing. We do that to make arguments, and in this case the generalization is highly true. There are few Mayberrys left in America.
Meh...I chalk this up to the outrage culture...everyone has to be outraged by something. If the mom was not making sure her child did not go to someone’s house who may have not wanted visitors, she’s just as much at fault as the helicopter parent who called the cops...just pick up the phone and call the other parent and ask them to keep the kid away during this period. Everybody has to have a cell phone video to post something they’re outraged about...there’s over 300+ million of us...we’re going to tick each other off from time to time...no need to be outraged by every, single thing and post it on social media, etc.
