The Bushes lost all credibility with me when they supported Hillary in 2016.

GWB is right about putting partisanship aside during a time of crisis but the vast majority of that is on the Left which has sought to undermine DJT at every step for the last 3+ years. Now they see the virus as their ticket back to power, sick as that sounds.

The difference between Bush and Trump is that when the Left and their media savaged Bush, he wouldn’t fight back. He left office in total disgrace.

Trump fights them back and fights them hard. Sometimes it’s not pretty to watch but I’ve never, in my lifetime, seen a president more unfairly attacked from the get-go as this one. FISA warrants to leak false info? Spying on his transition team? Efforts to sabotage his cabinet? What president before this has had to face such institutionalized obstacles?

Perhaps he was just being a little more dismissive by using the wore, “bye” instead of, “by”?

President Trump is absolutely right. As usual, he is right on target.

George W. Bush proved that some of the worst things the Democrats said about him were correct.

I was once one of his most loyal supporters and held the Bush Family in the highest esteem.

All this changed during the G. W. Bush Administration, when I realised that he had no intention of upholding US law, despite his Oath of Office to do so, or of halting the flow of illegal immigrants across the Mexican Border. He spent more of the hard working Americans' hard earned money than any President since Lyndon Johnson.

I lost respect for the Bush Dynasty during GW's Administration.

I lost more respect when I read Barbara Bush's catty and stupid remarks about Sarah Palin.

But when the Bushes opposed President Trump and ignored the efforts of the corrupt establishment to sabotage the 2016 Presidential Election, I lost ALL respect for them.

I have no more respect for what George W. Bush has to say than the worst of the Democrat politicians, which is saying PLENTY!

Are you serious or did you forget to label this sarcasm?
If you’re stating it as fact and not opinion, say so. If fact, prove it!

He did lie about WMD.
He was responsible for Katrina.
He did cheat to win Florida.
He was illegitimate.

I supported many of Bush’s policies, some rightfully so, some because the alternatives were odious, and some to my regret.

But of all that, Bush’s propensity to willingly wear a “Kick Me” sign was the singularly most infuriating thing about him. His “bipartisanship” made me, and still makes me grit my teeth in anger.

One of the reasons I so appreciate Trump-he may serve as a punching bag for them, but rarely if ever does it willingly.

As a citizen, I can say “I can’t spare this man-he fights.”

Bush didn’t cheat to win Florida. Democrats were sloppy with their fraud that year.

Awesome! Every day there’s something new and refreshing, never before attempted by any other US President. I applaud the audacity!

Sure a lot of rewriting history in this thread/replies.

“”He left office in total disgrace.””

Mr. Bush joined the fraternity of sleepiness some time ago. In fact George, Jeb and Joe are charter members.

If I were a benevolent despot who sat, benignly, on top of every U.S. administration, ALL prior presidents would be banned from public comments after they are out of office; they had their time on the stage, now get the hell off.

Sorry guys, I have to disagree with President Trump's approach on this occasion.

Yes, I know that Dubya did nothing to push back on the Impeachment Hoax. But the point that I agree with is that we Americans should all be working together. That is a worthy message--even people really don't honor it.

The Donald should want to appear conciliatory and statesmanlike when compared to the bottom-feeders making up the Democrats.

I may be personally eager to tell the Demofascists to stick it up their backsides, but I am more eager to win the election.

And when he wouldn’t fight back, he wouldn’t stand up for us.
I liked GW because he seemed to understand that small business is the heart of our economic vitality. Looks like it was all fake, now. Just look what they are doing to the “ownership society “ and he tells us to go along.
History will not be kind to those who collaborated with those that want to destroy you.
