Sheriffs Refuse to Enforce 'Unconstitutional' Stay-at-Home Orders

Governors across the nation have issued stay-at-home orders. Many have extended them once or twice. Some have even gone so far as to threaten to slap residents with fines. But what these governors are counting on is local police departments and sheriffs to enforce their orders. Sheriffs from around the country are standing up and refusing to enforce the orders because they believe them to be unconstitutional.

Two Arizona Sheriffs – Doug Schuster of Mohave County and Mark Lamb of Pinal County – said they will not enforce Gov. Doug Ducey's (R) stay-at-home order. Both Schuster and Lamb agreed to talk with residents about violating the governor's order but they would not arrest those who refuse to comply, Arizona Central reported.

So, if the sheriffs don't enforce it but the city PD does? What a mess.

LOL! Not so easy in some cases as the line of county/city can be hard to decide. My side of the street is city and across the street is county. Crazy huh? Guess I’d have to stay with my neighbors.

Sheriff Schuster is our sheriff ... and we love him. Cal Sheehy is Lake Havasu’s nutless mayor. He is also the CEO of the largest resort hotel in town and is beholding to them ... and it shows. He could easily direct the LHCPD to stand down ... he won’t.

Since, almost always, Sheriff is an elected office they must face the voting public In my extreme conservative county our Sheriff is constantly worried about us voting him out.

The little town I live in has a police department but they known we would dissolve it, in favor of the Sheriff, if they get stupid.

But the Dem hellholes? Just say no.

I expect A&E to remove him for this. A&E is very much a part of the MSM and they won’t like him not enforcing Ducey’s stay at home orders.

Subject:: It’s not about your health!

“When the State tells you it’s safe to go to Home Depot to buy a sponge but dangerous to go and buy a flower, it’s not about your health.

When the State shuts down millions of private businesses but doesn’t lay off a single government employee, it’s not about your health.

When the State bans dentists because its unsafe, but deems an abortion visit is safe, it’s not about your health.

When the State prevents you from buying cucumber seeds because it’s dangerous, but allows personal lottery ticket sales, it’s not about your health.

When the State tells you it’s dangerous to go golf alone, fish alone or be in a motor boat alone, but the Governor can get his stage make-up done, and hair done for 5 TV appearances a week, it’s not about your health.

When the state puts you IN a jail cell for walking in a park with your child because it’s too dangerous but lets criminals OUT of jail cells for their health- It’s not about YOUR health!

When the state tells you it’s too dangerous to get treated by a doctor for chiropractic or physical therapy treatments yet deems a liquor store essential- It’s not about your health!

When the State lets you go to the grocery store or hardware store but is demanding mail-in voting, ITS NOT ABOUT YOUR HEALTH.

WAKE UP PEOPLE — If you think this is all about your health you’re mistaken! Please open your eyes! Stop being lead like blind sheep.”

Until martial law is declared, all of these restrictions are voluntary. Any attempt to take away your Constitutional rights under the color of law violates 18 USC 242. Jail and fine time.

Only the President has control over commerce. That is why he can say open or don’t open.

Governors, etc. can only ask nicely. I would like an egregious example arrested by the feds and made an example of for violating our rights.

To the governor: You want the citizens to go by this decree, you hop into your law enforcement car and do it yourself.

If I could find a comparable job, I would in a hearbeat, sir. Know anyone who needs an in-house corporate counsel? :)

Ah...I wish! I might have been able to help prior to retirement (2011) from a Fortune 100 financial/insurance corp.
