And grossly overestimated the number of deaths, so the dead wood at the CDC failed miserably and should be fired for dereliction of duty.

I really wish Trump would cut ties with these two nitwits already! If Birx and Fauci were on The Apprentice, they wouldve already had Trump tell them: YOURE FIRED! Better idea.
Keep them, and just get some second opinions.
A rational, scientific medical discussion among Fauci, Birx, and a few distinguished physicians and epidemiologists who differ would be enlightening for all.

Looks to me like exoneration for those of us who have gotten it right all along

Pointing out that someone is an arrogant often-wrong elitist is not the same as hating.
I don’t wish either of them any ill.

Good.
I think both of them were surprised Trump agreed to the 15 and 30 day social distancing guidelines. Most presidents would not have done it, interesting Trump was the one who did. Trump has handled this perfectly.

so these experts didnt know from past flues that many many folks would be asymptomatic? This is true about most pathogens. A British university did an extensive study a while ago that showed that most people who had flu didn't know they had it; of the rest, only a small percentage sought medical help.

The Docs need to realize that the Anerican people were unbelievably cooperative with their request.
But our patience is at an end.
Any thoughts that we’ll keep doing this are delusional.

No it isn’t.
It isn’t insane who hate people who needlessly and arrogantly destroyed one’s nation economy AND deprived millions of the routine medical care they need.

A particular FReeper who has a burr in his saddle about my posts keeps asking me if I think I am smarter than Trump’s task force.
At this point I have to say yes. Some of them anyway.

Asymptomatic - conveniently used to keep the more weak-minded Americans (Karens) terrified of their fellow citizens. And insisting we wear masks even in our cars.
But as someone asked this morning on FR - do we even know if they are asymptomatic or are the tests flawed - a lot of their tests have been.
