There are already millions of illegals on US soil. Some have been here thirty or forty years. Also, saying the border is closed is a misnomer. For example, most of the illegal Chinese had visas. They simply overstay them and get jobs and start having anchor babies. Anyone from anywhere can come in with a Visa and overstay. A lot of these people are not poor. Also, many have relatives here. When you talk to these people, as I have, they feel entitled to be here. Working for H&R block, my sister did hundreds of returns for illegals. They file taxes waiting for another forgiveness law. The taxes prove they have been here x years and, therefore qualify for forgiveness and green cards. The illegals are an extremely complicated and involved topic, no where near as simple as the media makes it sound.
Lastly, many pay organized criminal gangs called coyotes who smuggle them across the “closed” border. They end up in prostitution and drug running.
President Trump should oblige them and send a few thousand ICE agents and lot’s of buses and begin Mass Roundups in Los Angeles.
My niece lives in Mexico. Her boyfriend is Mexican and he is trying to get a visa to come here with her for a wedding in October. He can’t get an appointment until September. His daughter needs a passport and Mexico’s passport office is closed for at least a month.
