And, while he's at it, could he expand on the reported $3.5 million contract the US had with the Wuhan lab? What did it cover? What were the results?

The more appropriate title of this article should read :

“Dr. Fauci Says Wuhan Virus Was Likely Not Created in Wuhan Lab He Funded with Millions of US Dollars.”

Thats how the Gateway Pundit website titled it.

Yes. It’s not circular at all.

What’s not to get?

They isolated it from bat feces they collected. It’s in the lab. It “escapes” and gets in to the general population.

It’s a straightforward scenario that there may be evidence for.
