The Supreme Court on Tuesday said that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg underwent non-surgical treatment for a benign gallbladder condition.
Bader was treated at Johns Hopkins hospital in Baltimore and is resting comfortably and plans to take part in Wednesdays teleconference arguments, the court said.
The Supreme Court released the following statement:
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg underwent non-surgical treatment for acute cholecystitis, a benign gallbladder condition, this afternoon at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Following oral arguments on Monday, the Justice underwent outpatient tests at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., that confirmed she was suffering from a gallstone that had migrated to her cystic duct, blocking it and causing an infection. The Justice is resting comfortably and plans to participate in the oral argument teleconference tomorrow morning remotely from the hospital. She expects to stay in the hospital for a day or two.

The good lord will take care of this BEFORE the election!!!
Eventually they will just stuff her and get it over with.
I recall they put me on anti-biotic or some meds to see off the would stop it. I wa already admitted and they put the anti-b thru an IV drip.. Then the choice was laproscopic or traditional surgery. I had the lap. Got out 3 days earlier than I would have with regular surgery.
Ginsberg should be released from the hospital as soon as possible. Straight to a New York nursing home. As soon as possible.
It is soooo hard to say what I want to really say.
Im guessing she had an ercp. However ascending cholangitis is serious at any age. She is at very high risk
I thought I had had a heart attack at first Went to the ER and they ran blood test and told me not was GB
Groan
She'll do her best to hang on until after the November election, and after President Trump is reelected, she'll leave the bench.
Take the pain pill.
People are having to put off hip surgery at this time and other things.
It isn’t like it is an abortion.
BTTT!!!
Wait, how is she able to obtain any non-Covid related medical care? I thought that was verboten?
She really is going to avoid death until Trump is no longer President. That could be 5 years from now. Rats have a deep reservoir of hate that keeps the blood pumping as long as required.
Kind of like sitting judge Scalia dying and no one bothering to mention that in the call to report the dead body.
“Maybe she’s ‘Pulled A Faust One’ and made a deal with the Devil to live forever...... “
you mean like George Soros, Henry Kissinger and Madeleine Albright? Nosferatu!
“Straight to a New York nursing home. As soon as possible.”
I see what you did.
Acute cholangitis carries a significant risk of death, the leading cause being irreversible shock with multiple organ failure (a possible complication of severe infections).[7] Improvements in diagnosis and treatment have led to a reduction in mortality: before 1980, the mortality rate was greater than 50%, but after 1980 it was 1030%.[7] Patients with signs of multiple organ failure are likely to die unless they undergo early biliary drainage and treatment with systemic antibiotics. Other causes of death following severe cholangitis include heart failure and pneumonia.[22]
Risk factors indicating an increased risk of death include older age, female gender, a history of liver cirrhosis, biliary narrowing due to cancer, acute kidney injury and the presence of liver abscesses.[23]
Complications following severe cholangitis include kidney failure, respiratory failure (inability of the respiratory system to oxygenate blood and/or eliminate carbon dioxide), abnormal heart rhythms, wound infection, pneumonia, gastrointestinal bleeding and myocardial ischemia (lack of blood flow to the heart, leading to heart attacks).[22]
T-tube cholecystostomy — had a hot gall bladder. Probably needed drainage. With pancreatic CA ERCP would be risky
What did the surgeon say that made your gall bladder fall apart? :)
