Dr. Ramin Oskoui, a cardiologist and CEO of Foxhall Cardiology, reacted on Tuesday to a study that found a new coronavirus mutation reportedly mirrors a change that occurred as the SARS virus began to weaken, saying, “it’s well-known that as viruses progress, they typically mutate to weaker forms.”
“The phenomenon is known as ‘Muller's Ratchet,’” Oskoui told "The Ingraham Angle" Tuesday.
He added that this is “virology 101.”
“This is how they go away. They typically mutate, as well as herd immunity, to attenuate weaker strains that no longer make people so ill,” Oskoui continued.

Assuming COVID-19 mutates, are they additional active strains, or does the initial COVID-19 strain just fade?
The gungrabbing babykilling proggies want to keep us in quarantine until Trump loses the election, so they can turn America into a dystopian third-world shithole, and they can send us normal people to re-education camps where we either conform or have a bullet put in the back of our heads and we’re thrown into a lime-filled ditch.
Typically what happens is that a virus mutated to try and be compatible with a host so the host will not react to it.
When a virus replicates it changes (mutates....scary right). Problem is Copies are never perfect, and most genetic replication mistakes are to the detriment of the virus. This is simple high school level stuff we are talking about here.
And everyone should remember, a virus needs a host. In no way is it genetically helpful for a virus to become more deadly. A virus needs the host to live so it can replicate and move on.
Mankind is equipped to deal with this naturally, there is absolutely no reason for what we are seeing today. We act as if we are special and that mankind just lucked out for all the years we have inhabited the planet.
Even more good news. Let us pray this is true.
Based on the way the public policy is now going at the present moment, you will increasingly now see those who were serious about social distancing as a serious policy to prevent the pandemic from going out of control and buy time for the capacity and supplies to increase, learn new treatments, etc. vs. those who merely were using it as a political opportunity.
If this virus is now weakening, coupled with the heat of summer, the curve may not only remain flat, but go on a steep downward slope.

Of course the virus weakens over time; they all do.
This is the same reasoning that argues against evolution. All mutations are negative. There has never been a macro-evolutionary change, so why would anyone expect a virus to be different.
The a-hole left talking point is that we are over-reacting about liberty and getting back to normal.I never hated anybody more than the left and the scum sycophants who blindly follow and push every sickening -ism upon us.
Don’t worry, the left will still be out there panicking about a second wave that will be much worse.

I wouldn’t get too excited either way by any doctor’s claims on the opinion news shows. In this case, it’s not even anybody attached to the findings or an expert in the field. It’s a cardiologist promoting his cardiology business.
That what I was saying - he had nothing to do with it, not even his field. Anybody could throw out their thoughts on it - we do it here, in fact - as well as he did. Probably better.
I haven’t seen or heard from Fauci in a couple of days.
