@realDonaldTrump
Starting early next week, at my order, the USA will be purchasing, from our Farmers, Ranchers & Specialty Crop Growers, 3 Billion Dollars worth of Dairy, Meat & Produce for Food Lines & Kitchens. FARMERS TO FAMILY FOOD BOX Great news for all! @SecretarySonny @ZippyDuvall
---
@RepThomasMassie
Thats great, but lots more people will be at the soup kitchens and food pantries if @SecretarySonny doesnt start honestly explaining problems with our meat supply to @realDonaldTrump
Its been monopolized by Chinese and Brazilian companies, while USDA chokes USA competition.

Looks like Rep. Massie doesn't think this will help and it will still need legislation. Ask your Congressman to support the PRIME Act!
Since Donald Trump is an aficionado on beef since he eats quite a bit of it, I’m sure he knows what’s going on in the beef industry.
So we’re going to soup lines?
Most people don’t have their own chef lol...
Massie needs to find a way of getting Trump’s attention on this.
Food banks/parcels I think
Soup lines are so 1929!
The President just met with Iowa Gov Reynolds and Iowa Ag Sec Naig about meat and other food processing.
The Prez invoked the Defense Production Act and slashed red tape and regulations not having to due with safety.
Everyone in ag state politics, the business, and in investing knows who the processors owners are.
The DPA was analyzed by a professor and its not strong enough to deal with the problem. Massie is saying there needs to be legislation (PRIME Act).
Trump’s advisers are not being honest with him.
Yes. In my county alone I see scores of soup lines filled with nothing but Black and Hispanic Democrat voters.
I'm sure the Democrat Media will be reporting on it very soon!
I think he already has.
The main obstacle to staying open is liability. The DPA solves that. It also reins in unions, and is a check on owners closing to damage the Prez politically.
People want to produce.
There should be a lot more restriction on foreign ownership and that will have to be ultimately done by Congress.
As goes Smithfield so goes the country.
Hotels, Motels, Luncheon Counters, and other eateries are not feeding the mobs they did before the shut down.
farmers have a glut of produce.....
I guess we really are back to the Great Depression days.
We are, but the Presidents name is Trump, not FDR. FDR was what Hillery is, a Progressive. So FDR raised taxes and interest rates and spent all the remaining money poor people had building new roads and other Goobermint projects for the business’s we no longer had.
Turned the Great Recession into the Great Depression.
When your economy crashes, not a good time to squeeze every poor soul for their last quarter.
Ummmmm - if Massie, or any other republican...except maybe Mittens... wants the President’s ear, all it takes is a phone call.
You got my point.
