General(?) Flynn has earned the right to lead the NSA, or CIA, or whatever Department that he can be the most effective in while he goes after the deep state.

I think Flynn earned the right to come back, but I cannot imagine he would want to come back. This has been a pretty traumatic 3 years. I also think he has very good grounds to sue those who set him up as it is unlikely DOJ will represent them in court.
Make 170k a year and not sue because you would have conflicts (access to classified info) or stay out of the rat infested swamp where many are out to get you and recoup the millions you lost defending your self.
