2020 Census Operational Adjustments Due to COVID-19
We’re adapting or delaying some of our operations to protect the health and safety of our staff and the public and make sure we get the same population counted another way.
The 2020 Census is underway - more than half the households across America have responded - and more are responding every day. Online, phone and mailed self-responses will continue throughout the data collection process.
In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, the U.S. Census Bureau has adjusted 2020 Census operations in order to:
Protect the health and safety of the American public and Census Bureau employees. Implement guidance from Federal, State, and local authorities regarding COVID-19. Ensure a complete and accurate count of all communities.

I have and have not responded. I did the one with my correct address online. I did NOT do the one with the wrong address. The wrong mailing added a 5 digit number in front of my address. No use doing anything about it because they will still send someone to the house to verify the error. Government inefficiency at its best.
"Sampling" makes it easy to get the numbers you want.
I waited for them to mail me a paper one, and reported to them the number of free persons living in the household, and nothing else. I suspect the in-person door to door thing will be half-hearted, due to CCP Virus.
I applied to do work for the census they are paying $25.00 an hour it is a two month job but GEEZE $25.00 an hour to make some phone calls! Everything is on hold right now!!
I’m currently doing that job. No making phone calls yet, just training modules online, reading, and doing the training modules over again. They’re doing everything they can to keep us employed and not quit. But they only pay me $19.50 an hour (to stay home). How do I get that $25.00 you speak of ?

On the contrary, I’ve been training to do the part-time job of a Quality Control Enumerator for 2 months now. I wish private industry was as efficient as the US Government is. Their website and training modules are very well done.
That’s why they send me out to get the information they need from EVERYONE. No sampling.
Addresses are different: Complete the Census questionnaire using the Census ID on the mailer with the address that most closely resembles the address at which you live. Do not respond using the Census ID on the mailer with the incorrect address. You may continue to receive reminder letters for the incorrect address, but you may disregard them. A census field worker may visit you in the future to ensure we have an accurate accounting for all addresses.
I see they are currently projecting home visits from Aug 11th to October 31. I kept the wrong form to show them.

Will all the selected areas be in Democrat zones?
No. It is the Census’s goal to count ALL people in the country where they were on April 1, 2020.
