A pregnant woman and her boyfriend were fatally shot inside their Staten Island home Monday by a convicted killer during a botched home robbery, sources said.
The suspect Philip Moreno, 45, allegedly stormed into the home in Arlington at about 5 p.m. and gunned down both victims in the living room, according to law-enforcement sources.
Ana Desousa, 33, who was pregnant, and her partner, Alafia Rodriguez, 46, were discovered dead on the floor by police.

Was he one of the released prisoners?
Trust me on 2 things, since I can guess what part of town this was.
1. The owner wasn’t unarmed, he was ambushed.
2. And this wasn’t a home invasion.

Drug induced murder? Drug deal gone wrong? Perp might have known those victims had drugs he wanted. Why was he paroled? Makes judges...prison officials, parole officers very PROUD of their success in rehabilitating prisoners.
Headline once again deceives, wait a few days and we will find the truth if its worthy to them. My guess the perp was cheated in a drug deal
The shooter might have been a taxpayer who knew the pregnant woman was a meth addict and didn’t want to allow her to add to the crack-baby population.
