Wow—I am amazed at some of the responses in this thread.
I don’t know how many people have balked at the lock down. I’ve seen many complaints that “no quarantine in history has ever kept healthy people locked up” (which is not true, but people believe that). So here is a bill designed to target testing to those who are the most likely to have been exposed, to conduct contact tracing, to quarantine those individuals who test positive—and people are complaining?
This bill actually RELIEVES the lock downs. It is intended to allow people who test negative to go about their ordinary business, while keeping those who test positive confined.
Then go ahead and get tested and be put in a data base. Great.
I still don’t understand what good testing for the virus is, when you can test negative one day and then catch it the next. This seems to be what has happened in the White House.
Do they intend to test everyone every day?
“It is intended to ALLOW people who test negative to go about their ordinary business,...”
That right there IS our problem with it. Do you get it?
Are you serious? How do you square this with the 4th amendment? Do you think government officials should have the absolute right to enter our homes? Can’t you see the potential for abuse? Once they’re in your home, they can take liberties such as surreptitiously searching for your weapons or anything else they can deem “contraband”. And who’s to say the testing will be accurate? A false positive and a family member could be off to a Covid-19 gulag. I’m appalled how easily citizens seem to give up their rights.
It’s a 12 figure slush fund.
Won’t you be my neighbor?
Won’t you please, won’t you please,
Please won’t you be my neighbor?
Hopefully you’re kidding. If Testing positive means you’re free to resume your life and testing negative means not yet there is something that is very worrisome about it. For one, it means everyone MUST be tested. That is one right taken away right off the bad. Horrible idea. This should be shredded, then burned, then thrown into an active volcano.
If you test positive you have a 99% chance of surviving. Only a slightly less % chance of even showing symptoms.
no, this is going to be mandatory medical procedure on citizens.
Just no.
Not fully exDem it seems. Bring on big brother.
And when the rest returns a false positive, who would know?
Nobody and I mean NOBODY will carry me or my loved ones away to be isolated. Any such attempt would not end the way they think it will.
Knock on my door
State your business
The reply is “no”
No testing
Get a warrant signed by a judge
Now leave my property
Enough of this statist madness
