Amazing how that always happens.

UPDATE: A senior DOJ official tells
@ABC
“we do not intend to release the [unmasking] list” that Grenell brought over to the building last week.

I predicted it.
There is the possibility that they need to keep this as evidence.
Just leak it LIKE THE DEMOCRATS WOULD!!
More Obama holdovers putting up roadblocks.
WTH?
Trump should order their release.
(Statistically impossible, but nonetheless...)
I can see how the release would only benefit the left.
Eventually, we will have to storm DC before they understand we have a RIGHT to that information. We have a RIGHT to know who was engaged in political spying.
There is no ‘law’ you filthy peasants. Only power
C’mon folks! Are you that dense? This is evidence. It’s a road map for potential witnesses if you publicly disclose it now. Grinnell obviously gave it to Barr to use on the cases being developed.
If the list of unmaskers is to be incorporated into Federal Indictment on the FISA court fraud (a major Federal crime) then this would make sense.
The ones who did the unmasking know who they are-— and their responses (or non-response) are of note... so keep watching.
If the “senior DOJ official” is not named then the “source” has to be completely suspect. In prosecution terms public release of “security clearance” level information that would be in the indictment documents.... should not be released to the public... until the indictment is served. Otherwise— it could all be thrown out of what already bull crap fed court would receive it-— rather easily by the “competition” sitting on the federal benches.
This is misleading and appears to be ABCs attempt to muddy the waters for entertainment purposes.
The names were given to DOJ as a courtesy for any investigations the names may be applicable to. The ODNI has full and sole authority to release these names as he wishes. I assume that will be after DOJ has advised his office of their intent.
Perhaps there’s ongoing investigations...Barr and Durham and company have kept much close to the vest to keep from compromising what they have been doing...if it weren’t for them, none of the recent revelations would have come out...even though much was “common knowledge”, they have compiled evidence to back that knowledge up.
sundance says this has more to do with privacy issues of WHO was UNMASKED, not whodunnit.
Since it is ABC, it is only fractionally believable-if at all-and it is probably evidence-if that is the case, no names are going to be released until witnesses have been rounded up, “encouraged” to drop the dime on superiors and hearings have begun-it isn’t prudent to throw out info prematurely just to give bread and circuses to the public in a legal matter...
Cmon...a source tells ABC News, and were going with that? Really?
Oh let’s see, an ABC repprter claims an unnamed soucre in the DOJ says they won’t release the list...
Gee sounds like BS to me....
