It’s now clear the Obama-Comey FBI and Justice Department never had anything more substantial than the laughable fiction of the Steele dossier to justify the “counterintelligence” investigation of the Trump campaign. Yet incessant leaks from that supposedly confidential probe wound up consuming the Trump administration’s first months in office — followed by the Bob Mueller-led special counsel investigation that proved nearly the “total witch hunt” that President Trump dubbed it.
Information released as the Justice Department dropped its charges against Gen. Mike Flynn shows that President Barack Obama, in his final days in office, played a key role in fanning the flames of phony scandal. Fully briefed on the “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation, he knew the FBI had come up with nothing despite months of work starting in July 2016.
Yet on Jan. 5, 2017, Obama told top officials who’d be staying on in the new administration to keep the crucial facts from Team Trump.
It happened at an Oval Office meeting with Vice President Joe Biden, intel chiefs John Brennan and Jim Clapper and national security adviser Susan Rice, as well as FBI Director Jim Comey and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates.
“From a national-security perspective,” Rice’s memo afterward put it, “President Obama said he wants to be sure that, as we engage with the incoming team, we are mindful to ascertain if there is any reason that we cannot share information fully as it relates to Russia.”

And the reason for that is the same reason the GOP has been not just supine throughout his entire crime spree, but actively assisting in the cover up.

Who’s going to make Biden testify, much less restrict his mobility? Pelosi and Schiff will not allow any House hearings. Burr, who chairs the Senate Intelligence Committee and should be responsible for oversight, has proven he will follow Mark Warner’s orders and not look under any rocks. His committee recently gave a complete whitewash to the intelligence committees and confirmed there was significant Russian interference in the 2016 election. McConnell? Nothing he has ever done suggests he will push for Senate hearings. After all, Joe was once a member of the Senate club.
That leaves Barr and Durham. Are they going to indict the Democrat candidate during an election year? Are they going to indict the previous occupant of the White House. Unprecedented and highly unlikely.
If there are no indictments, and Biden become president, everything will be swept under the rug. It would not surprise me if Trump loses in November the full power of the DOJ, IRS, and Intelligence agencies will be focused on destroying him, his business interests, his associates and his family. They will make his remaining years of life miserable, ruin him financially, and imprison him if they can.
As Barr stated a few days ago, the victors write the history. The history our children and grandchildren are taught today in schools across the U.S. states our country was founded by racist heterosexual white male slaveowners. They and their white male descendants have been exploiting and murdering people of color, homosexuals, and women for over two hundred years. After Trump is gone the same college professors who have written the history textbooks used to teach children today will determine what future generations know about the Trump term in office.

Everything we know now,was known long ago. The government as a whole ALWAYS knew and will do what it always does: NOTHING. I guess our side can shoot sh*t up and turn parts of America into Syria and Iraq. I highly doubt that is coming anytime soon but the post-Trump era will be a war on many fronts.

Read an interesting theory concerning the Steele Dossier... it was intended as a political club to bash Republican supporters of Donald Trump after, as everyone anticipated, she WON the election. She had so many skeletons that were fodder for congressional investigation post-inauguration that she needed something (mostly classified) to act as a counterbalance or smoke-screen. Yeah, but YOUR guy was working with the evil Russians!
It was probably election nite that the idea of continuing the conspiracy to weaken/remove Trump was hatched. And of course, Barak Obama was fully on-board for that as he was when he signed off on the intelligence investigations in the first place.

It sort of does explain why Hillary didn’t come out and give a concession speech that night. She was huddling with what passes for her brain-trust, and probably burning up the wires trying to reach Obama. They had already sprung the Russian-collusion theory on Day One of the Democrat Convention months before. Their butts were hanging out a mile, and like Von Rundstedt at the Bulge they decided “screw it” let’s go for it!

I’ve concluded from what we’ve learned that President Trump is the cleanest guy we’ve had in the White House in my lifetime.
He’ll deny it, lawyer up by Soros, the Media will protect him, and it will go away. Move on. He’s another Democrat untouchable. They have their own rule of law, and all you get from them is a middle finger and GFY!
