Stay Safe.
Stay a Sheep.
DON'T Ask Questions.
They would have *never* crippled the economy under Obama. Or maybe they would have, with the order coming directly from Obama himself.
Fauci is a single voice. There is an entire chorus at the White House.
He speaks like an attorney telling you all of the the things that could possibly go wrong. He sounds reasoned and educated.
There are a bunch of other voices that say things like opening reasonably will ensure that we dont fill the ICU beds.
Who do you think Trump is listening to? The Media likes Fauci because he comes across as educated and intelligent. He is what their Ivy League colleagues tell them what a Doctor should sound like.
Again, who do you think Trump is listening to?
Exactly, he's drunk on his newly found power and fame. Just like the Dem governors.
Dr. Robert R. Redfield of the Centers for Disease Control largely echoed Dr. Anthony Faucci, but he added that America could emerge from the pandemic if we continued the economic shutdown and social distancing as dictated by the medical experts because we are “Stronger Together.”
This was Hillary Rodham Clinton’s 2016 campaign slogan. It caused not a titter.
Imagine the outrage if Redfield called upon us to “Make America Great Again.”
Not mentioned much anywhere: big, permanent changes are going to happen either way, and nothing will stop those changes from occurring.
“Stay home or else! Don’t even think about going to the beach! We’ll tase you! We’ll arrest you! Drones will follow and photograph you! We don’t care about your job!...But we’re all in this together...stay safe.”
Look, Fauci is Deep State but he makes no policy, rules or orders whatsoever and economic questions have nothing to do with him.
People are improperly using him as a shield for politicians.
Fauci advises on public health.
Politicians are the ones closing and opening parts of the country.
Can’t open what doesn’t exist anymore. What’s Inslee going to do when there’s no businesses anymore, people don’t have money to buy anything but food and a bit of gas to get to market? He has totally trashed the state even if he opens it up totally.
Fauci wasn't asked but he wanted to respond to Rand Paul's closing comments.
Early in the hearing, Warren wound out her questioning of Fauci by trashing Trump and the task force. Fauci sat quietly and then didn't ask to respond.
But hey, Fauci will still be getting a paycheck so he's good.
Cloward-Piven is what happens if we open too late.
He also has tunnel vision only looking only at the issue that is in his cubicle - COVID statistics. He isn't even concerned with other public health issues. What about people not getting care in doctors offices, emergency rooms and elective surgeries? What is not being diagnosed, diagnosed late or treated late? Kids are not being immunized. What about the public health consequences of unemployment, poverty, homelessness, isolation? Including increased levels of alcoholism, drug abuse and/or domestic violence? Fauci addresses none of this - he is only concerned with his narrow statistics.
Rush, please remind the public of the original purpose of the shutdown: to keep hospitals from being overwhelmed. How many hospitals in the US are now overwhelmed? Less than a handful.
Fauci has moved the goalpost.
There are only 4 groups not wanting to reopen:
1. Dems using a scorched earth strategy to defeat Trump.
2. Losers who vote Dem and are making more off unemployment than they made working.
3. Those brainwashed by the media.
4. Fauci and his ilk who can’t see the forest beyond their own myopic tree.
A roaring back economy ups chances considerably for America. America living the Socialist model while under house arrest,in fear and uncertainty with the main income government with the blame on Trump is the goal.
Bump
Fauci and his ilk are such incompetents. Either incompetent, or intentionally misleading/trying to ruin the country.
Their “models” were developed with the sophistication of a student who has sat through about their fist week of statistics. A true multifator model wouldn’t only try to track the deaths from the virus of “doing nothing” or shutting things down, it would factor in the total deaths, including those caused by shutting things down. The factors themselves are related, and not in all the same way. Shutting things down reduces and slows the spread of the virus, but in the end, maybe it does not reduce total deaths from the virus over time, it only would for those that could have been avoided if the hospitals get overwhelmed (flattening the curve) or if we somehow find a cure (a vaccine is not a cure), but it clearly increases deaths from not going to the ER with chest pains, delayed chemo/cancer treatments and organ transplants, suicides, etc. On the flip side, there are probably fewer auto related deaths. A real model would factor all these things in, but that would be “hard” to model, and “we ain’t got time for that”. Of course if your objective is not to minimize total deaths, but to do as much harm to the economy and Trump, then by all means, shut it all down for as long as possible if “its saves just one life” it must be worth it....
