Well he has a lot more to correct and apologize for - his comments were false following the edited clip as well. Then all of the other false reports he has regularly aired. He should also apologize for presenting himself as a journalist when he is in reality a left wing activist sitting in an anchor’s chair.
Will he air a full story spending as much time on his correction this coming Sunday on the program, complete with a panel to discuss his correction on this story? It wasn’t just the edited clip - they had an entire discussion around the falsity of the edited clip and apparently missing all of the documents that were released which more than warranted to having the case dismissed...
...of course he won’t.
“I didn’t do it” is far from an apology.
Since his network failed to admonish him pull their FCC licenses and press credentials. Leave them somewhere below a cat blog status.
once upon a time, hacks like Todd and all the rest of the TDS-infected media mob would have been fired and replaced either pre-2016 election for showing blatant bias or, at the latest, on the evening of election day for melting down on air (or in their newspapers/mags whatever).
They always apologize when caught out in fake news.

He didn't apologize until Tues. He and NBC must have spent Mon. trying to craft an apology that would make Chuck come out unscathed. They couldn't do it.

This is not an apology. At a minimum, Todd would admit that he and his production team lied with malice and in so doing slandered AG Barr. The operative words are “lied”, “malice”, and “slandered”. Then he’d have to make some genuine expression of contrition. Something like hari-kari would be appropriate in that regard, but a simple resignation and withdrawal from public life would do.

If he yanks their press credentials, he’ll have to yank Jim Acosta’s, too, until all the liars are gone. And then whom will he have left to roast. He should make an example of them, by roasting them extra crispy.
That wasn’t an apology, that was a lie. Ironic that this “journalist”, who accuses Barr of wanting to rewrite history, is all about rewriting history.
If he was sorry for erring a fraudulently edited video, will he offer Barr the full hour of his program this Sunday to presenting his unfiltered message.
