I can think of no other reason besides it appears that some blue states wanted as many deaths from COVID as possible, and they purposely assisted in that goal. They are murderers of the worst kind.
The American Left is absolute Evil.
Nursing homes cost Medicaid less per day than hospitals.
It is time to weep, America. This is the kind of leadership our votes have allowed in the highest offices in our land. Time to remove our trust. Time to think for ourselves. They only care for their own well being. If you die, it is nothing to them. The next vote is the only thing on their mind. They will do anything, say anything, bankrupt this nation and allow our poor and our elderly to die in the process. We have seen this before throughout history. It is past time that we stop fearing and start acting like we have a country to lose if we do not think for ourselves.

My 89 year old mother was in a LOCKED DOWN county facility, Neshaminy Manor(360 Bed Facility) in Bucks County PA. NO visitors since 3/10. The unit she was in was locked down. She was confined to her room. For several weeks we were told there was “NO COVID-19” in the facility. Almost 6 weeks later she developed a fever, tested positive for COVID-19 and died on April 22.
Update as of 05/11/20
35 residents who tested positive for the virus have passed away since the pandemic began.
141 residents tested negative (-)
82 residents tested positive (+)
8 residents have fully recovered; most other residents are slowly improving
58 staff tested positive
46 staff have recovered; others being followed and monitored by the BCHD.
My Mother was there almost 10 years for cognitive and physical issues. She received great in a very clean and well run facility.
FACTS:
My Mom was 89 and in frail health. PRIOR to COVID-19 my family feared any bad respiratory illness would be her last.
When the lockdown happened there was NO COVID-19 reported in the facility for several weeks.
COVID-19 entered the facility via an employee. At one time MORE employees were testing positive than residents.
WHAT would a lawsuit against this nursing home accomplish? It is taxpayer supported. The last thing I want is to line the pockets of some sleazy, parasitic, injury lawyers AND burden my fellow county taxpayers.
THE BIGGER PROBLEM is all the congregate living facilities in Bucks County are experiencing the same problem THUS skewing the infection rate for the rest of BUCKS COUNTY and the state of PA. If they took these “hot spots” out of the numbers the overall situation would not be that bad.
This is allowing our useless governor Tom Wolfe to keep Bucks County and most of SE PA shut down.
The PA attorney general is now investigating several facilities but should be investigating her and the governor. They have failed to protect the most vulnerable.
People aren’t dying fast enough for the Democrats. They need the killer vaccine ASAP.
What a sell out . A true believing leftist would let their mother die for the cause.

the hospitals have to go by what is dictated to them and even in my smaller community hospital we’ve had to keep many many beds open for the “surge”.....the “surge” never happened.
