Tesla is reportedly making moves to reopen its Nevada battery factory after gaining the upper hand in CEO Elon Musk's battle with county officials over restarting the carmaker's Fremont, California, assembly plant.
Tesla North American HR boss Valerie Workman shared plans for employees to return to work in Nevada in a Monday email, The Verge reported. Those employees would be contacted within 24 hours and given a return-to-work date, Workman said, according to the outlet.

Good. It’s time to get back to work.
California Police Attempt To Arrest Elon Musk’s Holographic Decoy As Real Musk Escapes On Rocket To Mars
It’d be great if Trump could secure Musk’s endorsement for reelection. Oh, how the media would howl. Not sure if Musk would ever do it though considering his target market is mostly bougie white leftists.
His middle-finger to the Democrats though ... I'm absolutely loving that. Go Elon Go!!
He was met on the gangway of LC-39A by John Galt, and they both boarded the Starship to escape the idiots
From 5 billion in subsidies under Obama, to a conservative folk hero under Trump. The music man rides on.
ROTFLMAO!
Money talks, too bad all the small businesses that want to open get this treatment.
My neighbor works at Tesla Nevada operations. She was only off 4 weeks, and was back at work Monday. She LOVES her job.
I bet her an ice cream bar that Musk was already presenting building plans to Storey County for the NEW assembly plant here in Nevada. She said she would NOT b surprised.
California is charging Musk a surcharge for every truck of batteries brought into Fremont assembly plant —
Dangerous Cargo’.
How come the battery isn’t a ‘Dangerous Cargo” when INSTALLED into the Tesla car in the eyes of California officials???
Musk is current the BIGGEST employer of MANUFACTURED goods in California-—10.000 at that plant. Bet you all that many will NOT move to Nevada-—so for those who know how to work such assembly lines-— Living in N Nevada is pretty cheap—if you are NOT in Reno proper. NO personal Income tax either.
I live about 26 miles from the Tesla operations here in N Nevada. I have 5.58 acres—house, garage, horse & fencing & cross fencing, well, septic & MY current property taxes are UNDER $750 annually. Power bills UNDER $100 monthly. Drive between here & there is all highway except for 1 mile of paved road to Hwy.
MUSK paid back all the LOANS he got with interest—ahead of schedule.
