Flynn is presumed guilty by Sullivan. It was my impression that the American legal system bent over backwards to presume someone was innocent. Silly me.

'Travesty of justice': Flynn lawyer opposes judge’s invitation for outside opinions after DOJ moves to dismiss case
The public docket shows that Sullivan shot down multiple more amicus filing requests in January, February, March, and November of 2019.

Come on guys, get over it, the Judge is just doing what he has to do to keep the Bribe Money we paid him, otherwise we would be demanding our money back, and just for the Record, Judge Sullivan is one of the Finest Judges Money can buy.

Yes, but isn’t it also true that if convicted and then subsequently pardoned, Flynn can no longer hold office in government, like being the new ass-kicking Director of the FBI?

What will happen if Sullivan refuses to dismiss the charge?

The weirdo is promptly reversed on appeal.

Sullivan could deny all motions and sentence. The US filed a motion to dismiss....denied; he already pled guilty. The defense filed a motion to withdraw the guilty plea and to enter a plea of not guilty....denied. Second defense motion, prosecution should be dismissed for prosecutor misconduct....denied. The only thing left is sentencing...judge rules on how long Flynn is in prison. Denies bail continued until appeals are over....BOOM, Flynn doesn’t walk out the front door. He’s in a van to Club Fed.
That’s the nightmare scenario Flynn is facing.
Surely Powell takes an immediate writ ( in fact I’d do it today for an appellant ruling to toss the amicus briefs out, before they’re even filed).

I’m not sure but if POTUS wants to nominate him for a federal office the Senate has to confirm the nominee, in a case like this the Rats would squeal like stuck pigs. :^)

Flynn’s persecution should be a stark and sober warning to future military leaders of what can happen to them if they dare to delve into politics — despite their honorable and heroic service to the country. They and their families will be harassed and trashed if they have any notions of working in a conservative administration.

A partisan and unforgiving legal system awaits them.

was a series of covert and illegal[1][2] projects conducted by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) aimed at surveilling, infiltrating, discrediting, and disrupting American political organizations.

The 16 former Watergate prosecutors who are now determined to insert themselves into the Flynn case just happen to be the same lawyers (minus one) who penned a joint op-ed in the Washington Post on October 10, 2019 headlined “We investigated the Watergate scandal. We believe Trump should be impeached.” Of course, we know how that turned out.

So this is basically Mueller's 17 angry democrat lawyers all over again

The DOJ has already declined to prosecute. The case is over.

So the only possible explanation is that the judge is allowing “amicus curiae” briefs is to simply extend the propoganda generation and allow for a bit more headline generation and narrative building by the mainstream media.

Greg is often right, and brings out htings folks don’t usually think about- but unfortunately, the left just keep right on breaking the law- and the msm goes right on protecting them from scrutiny-
