The GOP clinched major victories in two special elections held on Tuesday but was largely ignored by the mainstream media.
Mike Garcia managed to flip California's 25th District, becoming the first Republican to do that in the state since 1998. Garcia, a former Navy combat pilot, was declared the winner on Wednesday after his Democratic challenger, state assemblywoman Christy Smith, conceded the race. The congressional seat was previously held by Rep. Katie Hill, who resigned last year.
Both Garcia and Smith will face off again in November.

Rush didn’t talk about it.
During Rush’s show the Democrat in California had not yet conceded. We were all expecting weeks and weeks of ballot harvesting. So Rush would not have jumped the gun on a victory lap.
I’m sure all of the Dem consultants today will be soiling their diapers and screaming at Den governors to get off the lockdowns.
Maybe when they face off again in November, the rat 🐀 bastard democrats won’t concede as quickly. We shall see.

If Republicans can start playing offense again, they’ll win a few more that cannot be ignored. Maybe then they will cease whining about how mean the Democrats are.
