WASHINGTON A key former F.B.I. official cast doubt on the Justice Departments case for dropping a criminal charge against President Trumps former national security adviser Michael T. Flynn during an interview with investigators last week, according to people familiar with the investigation.
Department officials reviewing the Flynn case interviewed Bill Priestap, the former head of F.B.I. counterintelligence, two days before making their extraordinary request to drop the case to Judge Emmet G. Sullivan. They did not tell Judge Sullivan about Mr. Priestaps interview. A Justice Department official said that they were in the process of writing up a report on the interview and that it would soon be filed with the court.
The departments motion referred to notes that Mr. Priestap wrote around the bureaus 2017 questioning of Mr. Flynn, who later pleaded guilty to lying to investigators during that interview. His lawyers said Mr. Priestaps notes recently uncovered during a review of the case suggested that the F.B.I. was trying to entrap Mr. Flynn, and Attorney General William P. Barr said investigators were trying to lay a perjury trap.

New York Times: who you going to believe, Bill Priestap or your lying eyes?
I believe that the New York Times will be unindicted co-conspirators when this is all said and done. They have regurgitated everything they have been fed by the coup leaders in the intelligence agencies and it strains credulity to believe they don’t know damning facts they simply haven’t printed. They are every bit as corrupt as Brennan, Clapper, Comey and Priestap!!!
Just to add to my last comment, the New York Times knows this and didn’t report it and left General Flynn hanging out to dry by not revealing that Covington & Burling concealed this exculpatory evidence from their client:

The Twitter link above reveals an email from a New York Times reporter named Mark Mazzetti to lawyers at Covington & Burling. Mazzetti is asking for a meeting with General Mike Flynn’s attorneys to discuss what the New York Times had just discovered, that Joe Pientka told IG Horowitz that Andrew McCabe ordered him to to alter the FD-302 report originally filed in the Flynn case.
