“Garfield is way more sparsely populated than Mesa. These rules make no sense; no rhyme or reason to them.”

Mesa County is kind of the Texas of Colorado. Maybe Polis is afraid to mess with it too much.

I’ve been to Rifle many times. It is a nice little town. Have a friend who lived there. Have not talked with him for a while, but bet he is still living there.

Most of the Western Slope of CO is beautiful country.

Not crazy like Denver, Boulder and Longmont.

Note the owner is packing. Smile.

I might have been wrong, the lady in the photo might just be a waitress. But owner wants them to pack.

I drove over to Rifle this afternoon and dined al fresco at Chez Shooter’s Grill. Business seemed pretty good. By the time I got there, they were out of desserts, hamburger buns, and hamburger patties.

I had to settle for the prime rib, side of (real) mashed potatoes, and sauteed zucchini with summer squash. My dog ordered foie gras and caviar, but the waitress just caressed her Glock and gave him a bad look.

I also met Lauren Boebert, who is running against Scott Tipton. Scott Tipton, you may recall, voted in favor of funding Planned Babymurderhood. Lauren is hardcore pro-life. I told her that I will help her any way I can.

A police officer arrived just as we were leaving, and gave Lauren some paperwork. I didn’t pry, but I did hear him say that it was not an order to shut down.

A pretty good afternoon. An American man driving down the Interstate is about the purest expression of human freedom extant in this year of Our Lord 2020.

Don’t worry. Cops will never violate your rights.

Nope.
