Newly declassified documents, including an FD-302 FBI witness report, revealed that on Jan. 5, 2017, Yates, Comey, Biden, then-CIA Director John Brennan and then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, along with National Security Adviser Susan Rice and other members of the National Security Council, attended the meeting.
After the briefing, Obama asked Yates and Comey to “stay behind,” and said he had “learned of the information about [then-incoming National Security Adviser Michael] Flynn” and his conversation with Russia’s ambassador about sanctions...
A previous memo from Rice (LINK) stated that Biden also stayed behind after the main briefing had ended...

I do not trust the “Deep State” any more than you do. All I know is the first one up the court house steps gets the best deal. Singing and turning on another POS gets you a lot of leverage. The US Atty or AG needs witnesses and documentation. Tapes will work just fine, admissions against interest etc. El CLAP alleges he is Corona virus hibernating? If he is cooperating and he says something contrary to given testimony, his deal is down the toilet. The AG needs someone who was present at most of the meetings with traitors. He qualifies. JMO. Based on my past experience, no inside info.

After contending that the practice itself is inherently legal, the Democrats will argue that they had reasonable grounds or probable cause or some other excuse to investigate Flynn. Please note in his most recent televised interview Joe Biden confidently asserted that he had no knowledge of any criminal investigation of Flynn.
Of course, the investigation of Flynn as far as the January 5, 2017 White House conference was concerned will probably be justified not as a criminal matter but as an investigation for national security. A national security investigation, which Biden must ultimately admit to, is much easier to justify.
His base will accept that lie and it will be difficult for Attorney General William Barr to attach a crime to it without more.

Spying on US citizens IS a problem. I thought masking is when an investigation into foreign persons sweeps up some US names in communications.
And what was Veep Biden going to do with the information 2 weeks before stepping down from office?
And why so many other agencies that didn’t have connections to this case engage in unmasking Flynn’s name?

January 2017 they had already lost. they were determined as hell to take down Trump and coordinate their efforts in a criminal conspiracy they branded “Crossfire Hurricane”.
It was a weaponizing of US agencies (as had already occurred with the IRS, Justice Department, and EPA).
So which of these weasels will be the first to rat the whole operation out to save their own bacon??
The Ministry of Propaganda has always been on their side, nobody with a brain has ever had any illusions they were fair.
Some people do still believe the GOP did not assist the Kenyan from Indonesia to usurp the office and cover up the crimes committed during the usurpation.
These people from Obama’s intelligence apparatus will need to avoid small boats, kayaks and canoes for a few years. Maybe longer.
