No Judges Confirmed This Week

Posted on 05/16/2020 4:00:33 AM PDT by cotton1706

This will be a weekly post.

Count remains at 191 judges confirmed.

138 District Court judges

51 Circuit Court judges

2 Supreme Court judges

The Senate Judiciary Committee is active again, doing markups and hearings. Votes will follow.

There are currently 16 nominees on the floor awaiting votes. McConnell this week called for cloture on several. So there will be confirmations next week.

The Appeals Circuit Court assembly line has been completely shut down this year so far. Covid response used for a political shutdown of the Judiciary Committee.

Linda said he will not head this committee after the election. He is obviously compromised. Ckt judges are the priority. He pushes effing trial judges.

We may lose the Senate in November. Deep State has shutdown judges.

Is there any activity at the whitehouse.gov links about new appeals judges being vetted. A disgrace that those three old Phuck 7th ckt judges (84, 82, 82 years old) have not had their useless selfish old asses shoved into Senior status by now and replaced with new blood.

There are only two Circuit vacancies. On the DC and the 5th. There was a hearing last week on Justin Walker (DC nominee). He’ll be voted out of committee in the next week or so, then a floor vote will be scheduled.

Furthermore, the vacancy doesn’t actually occur until September (but the judge may step down early if a successor is confirmed).

There’s a nominee for the 5th vacancy. That vacancy has been held up because Mick Mulvaney convinced Trump to appoint one of his cronies (Sul Ozerden). But that nomination expired with the congressional session. So Trump nominated a good conservative, who will get a hearing, committee vote and floor vote.

Trump has 51 Circuit confirmations in less than four years. Obama had 55 in EIGHT years. So we’re in VERY good shape at the Circuit level.

District judges are more numerous, and are more easily confirmed.

On a regular basis 80+ year old ckt judges have been retiring or moving to senior status. Even younger ones in their 60’s have done so.

We are in high danger of losing the Senate. Old fart R confirmed ckt judges absolutely need to get their selfish pompous asses out of the way.

4th ckt: 79, 76 yr old R judges
7th ckt: 84, 82, 82 yr old R judges by Reagan and papa Bush
8th ckt: 80 yr old R judge
9th ckt: 78 yr old R judge

Only in fed judges and crusty fed politicians is a situation like this tolerated. Everyone else is forced to retire in the real world. The R party must not tolerate this crap anymore. These aren’t 65 yr old’s here. 80 yr old dinosaurs that can die at any time. Get them out now.

The communist's strategy of shutting the country down over a flu-like outbreak is working brilliantly...
Their significant accomplishments include:
  1. Breaking the Trump economy in an election year;
  2. Stopping all those devastating (to the communists) Trump rallies;
  3. Stopping the nomination & filling of about 200 federal judge vacancies; and,
  4. Getting the sheeple used to the draconian tyranny that will be theirs for the next several centuries...

Not surprising that the CPUSA got a big assist from the chinese communists in the form of the chicom-virus sneak attack...

The Senate has always been in session. Now that the stimulus bills have been passed and a pause is happening, is the time for turtle and Linda to get the ckt court pipeline to flow again.

It is our side that is the cause.

In 6 months a good chance we lose the Senate or a weak majority that chokes the Judiciary Committee on judges and staff approvals. The 2020 and 2022 election cycles the GOP is on defense. Even if we do well enough in November the majority is most likely lost in 2022. All we can hope for is a 2 year window for Trump judges, at best.

From reading today looks like turtle and Linda were aware of Obama spying on Trump. Has this been used to extort those two to go slow on judges and investigations.
